Modern CISO Network: Board Book

Alexandre Horvath works as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Cryptix AG. In this role, he is responsible for the development of protection goals for mission critical assets/devices, cyber threats, and cyber risks. Additionally, he carries out risk assessments and business impact analyses as well as simulated crisis scenarios (including the participation of the top management). He ensures compliance with data protection/privacy regulations and manages cybersecurity awareness campaigns including phishing tests.

Alexandre has a strong background in IT security and risk management with over a decade of leadership experience. He has additionally been recognized with awards in strategic, operational, and project management subjects. His areas of strength include service management, risk remediation, and delivery of global projects. In his role, he manages the trifecta of cost, quality, and speed to market, while considering strategy and emerging security needs. Due to his deep cybersecurity and data protection management experience in building and sustaining cyber security programs, he can set strategic direction on cybersecurity with leadership and oversight of data breach issues. Based on his flair for new technologies and my excessive IT expertise, he understands the need of cybersecurity in the process of digital transformation. As a strong communicator, he successfully shares both experience and knowhow with all involved stakeholders.
