As Director of Information Security at Plymouth Rock Assurance, Daniel Goldenberg is responsible for all aspects of the company’s information and corporate security, as well as governance, risk, and compliance. With nearly 20 years of experience ranging from startups to enterprises and spanning the healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and digital consulting verticals, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to cross functional teams, industry panels, and boards alike.

Passionate about making sense of complex problems and designing innovative solutions that improve organizational processes and facilitate scalable success, Daniel has a proven track record of implementing solutions that improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and streamline core business processes. Prior to joining Plymouth Rock Assurance in 2022, Daniel was Director of IT & Security at nference, where he architected a zero trust access model and developed solutions to detect and mitigate cyberattacks. Prior to nference, Daniel held technical leadership positions with Barton Associates, Mobiquity, and Publicis Sapient. At Barton Associates, he was responsible for building and maintaining all IT infrastructure, services, policies and team to support the needs of a leading national healthcare staffing company. Before that, he was hired as Mobiquity’s second infrastructure engineer and quickly promoted to infrastructure manager after six months reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer. He worked directly with C-level management to define strategy, create value, drive ROI, and reduce operational costs.

In addition to his current role at Plymouth Rock Assurance, Daniel is a CISO Villager at Team8, an exclusive global community of cyber security senior executives, CISOs, and thought leaders from leading enterprises. Within the Team8 CISO Village, he actively collaborates, exchanges ideas, and promotes innovation in cybersecurity.
