Geoffrey Omwoyo is currently a Senior Information Security Specialist at ATCO Gas Australia. He plays a significant role in fortifying information security measures, safeguarding critical assets, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. His extensive experience, and commitment to continuous growth have made him an invaluable asset to the organization's cybersecurity initiatives. His contributions have significantly impacted the company’s overall protection and resilience in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

His career spans over a decade with experience across various industries including Education, Social Services, Nonprofit, Employment Placement and Recruitment Services and Energy.

Prior to joining ATCO Gas, Geoffrey worked at Skill Hire as a Project Execution Specialist tasked with implementing ISO 27001. He helped the organization attain that certification as well as the Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) Cyber Security Accreditation, which signifies assurance that a provider or external IT system has met the Department of Education and Workplace Relations requirements. Once the project was completed, Geoffrey moved to a new role as Manager - Group Cyber Security and Technology.

Geoffrey holds a Master of Computer and Network Security from Edith Cowan University, Australia and a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences specializing in Information Technology. In addition to academic qualifications, Geoffrey holds ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) professional qualifications.
