Gregory Wilson is a global business leader, trusted strategic advisor, governance risk and compliance and leading expert in digital and cybersecurity risk oversight with an DOD Active Top Secret Security Clearance. He is a leading advocate and expert on digital and cybersecurity risk oversight in the corporate boardroom. His Advisor role with several Venture Capital firms helps founders lead in shaping and securing the digital future and he works with them to develop their abilities to understand systemic risk and lead systemic change.

As a senior leader, Gregory has advised a wide range of departments across the globe on digital transformation information security, governance risk and compliance strategy, operations, and information technology. He’s led departments on several continents across numerous countries and worked with a diverse group of professionals. As a member of Hanson’s Leadership Team after the Hanson Building Materials and Lehigh merger, Gregory helped transition and led a global security and compliance organization for over 65,000 employees into the combined Lehigh Hanson. Prior to the Lehigh Hanson merger, Gregory led Hanson’s Building Material’s integration of ten companies which was valued at over $500M into the Hanson Building Material organization.

He has a wide range of functional experience including, risk management, M&A, IT, and strategy and has served multiple industries. He has coached and mentored several colleagues into the leadership positions within the Cybersecurity profession. His credentials include the CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CDPSE, PMP, ITIL as well as his Series 7& 24 security licenses. He holds an MA and BA and is a boardroom Qualified Technology Expert (QTE) by DDN and holds a board certification in Director Professionalism by the NACD. He also serves on CNBC Technology Executive Council, Boston CXO Executive Committee and SecureWorld Boston Advisory Boards.
