As a strategic and engaging CISO with a decade of experience in the financial sector, Guillaume specializes in supporting FinTech companies by aligning security strategies with business objectives.
With a track record of providing key assistance, advice, and audit services, Guillaume helps boards, directors, and employees identify and address security gaps. He translates vulnerabilities into business risks, fostering a practical understanding across organizations and enabling the implementation of effective solutions.
Throughout his career, Guillaume has demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills, collaborating with boards and leaders to meet expectations. He possesses executive and board-level experience in managing security, systems, teams, contracts, and finances. He works with teams across organizations to assess, prepare, achieve, and maintain compliance against various standards such as Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
As the CISO for several B2B and B2C FinTechs, Guillaume has defined and driven a security framework and strategy while managing communication of security posture across and outside of the organization. A key component of his roles has always been communication at all levels of organizations to increase security awareness and leverage internal skills to integrate security and data protection into the company culture. He continuously strives to demonstrate the business and strategic enabling capabilities of information security at every stage of an organization’s lifecycle.
In addition to his current position as CISO at Kroo Bank, Guillaume is a member of the VigiTrust Global Advisory Board. Founded in 2011, the Board consists of over 150 CEOs, CxOs, board members, regulators, enforcement bodies, researchers, and other key stakeholders in the security and compliance industry. The primary objective of the Board is information sharing, where members and guests engage in discussions about the industry’s innovation, upcoming laws and standards, case studies, and research work.
