Her valuable contributions at esteemed companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., W.L. Gore & Associates, and Biogen underscore her adaptability and profound grasp of various business sectors.

Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ChenMed, Janet leads the development and execution of a comprehensive information security strategy and program. In this role, she ensures the protection of ChenMed's information assets and technologies. Janet provides strategic guidance on technology projects, runs strong third-party risk functions, and continually enhances the security program. She oversees the creation of security policies, processes, and controls to secure sensitive data, ensuring regulatory compliance, including HIPAA. Janet excels in managing security events, safeguarding corporate assets, and staying abreast of emerging security threats and healthcare trends to develop effective security controls.

In her prior role within the Technology leadership team at a prominent $3 billion Broadcast Media company (iHeartMedia), Janet orchestrated the transformation of the Global Information Security function. This transformation involved accelerating cloud migration, overseeing acquisitions, and enhancing the security of critical infrastructure. Janet's achievements encompassed designing a new information security operating model, securing significant funding approval, and establishing a resilient ransomware-prepared Incident Response team.

Janet introduced specialized functions for Application Security and Cloud Security, effectively reducing vulnerabilities in the development cycle and ensuring consistent approaches to securing cloud workloads and data. She also made significant strides in mitigating security risks resulting from human error through an impactful employee awareness program.
