Jessica is a well-rounded cyber security professional experienced in leading and managing information security operations and projects across the legal tech and professional services.
As Head of Cyber Security at Grant Thornton Australia, Jessica is responsible for leading and managing the cyber security strategy and roadmap to ensure the protection of internal systems and data. Jessica oversees the leadership and training of the security team for offensive and defensive security operations.
Before joining Grant Thornton Australia, Jessica was the Global Director of Information Security at Dye & Durham Corporation, a leading provider of cloud-based software and technology solutions for legal and business professionals. There, she developed and implemented a global security roadmap and strategy and built and maintained the ISMS to meet the requirements of ISO 27001 standard across Australia and the broader organisation.
Before that, Jessica was the Security Operations Manager at Dye & Durham Australia, where she led a team of DevSecOps engineers across Australia and was responsible for the stabilisation and orchestration of security tooling and processes across production and non-production environments. Jessica assisted with building, administering, and supporting the cloud environment via automation and Infrastructure as code. Additionally, Jessica has significant experience performing penetration testing, vulnerability management and endpoint detection and response.
Jessica has a strong background in information security management, leadership, ISO 27001, incident response, cloud security, DevOps, and application security. She is passionate about cyber security and committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the domain from different backgrounds, cultures, genders, and abilities. She believes that having a diverse team to promote the unique perspectives and skills that contribute to the advancement and innovation of security solutions.
