Michael Calderin is a seasoned executive with 30 years of information technology, security, and risk mitigation experience for major global companies. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for process improvement – as well as for driving efficiency while containing costs – he has a verifiable history of contributing directly to company growth and expansion throughout his career. As such, Michael consistently exceeds budgetary and performance goals and is adept at achieving maximum operational output with minimal resource expenditure. Currently, Michael is the Chief Information Security Officer with the YAGEO Group, the global leader in chip resistors and tantalum capacitors. He leads a high-performing security team which supports 40,000 employees across 20+ countries. Michael regularly liaises with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the company’s security operations are driving the business forward.
