Michael Schlüter has over 20 years of experience in information technology, including more than nine years specializing in information security. With his extensive knowledge of international and national Swiss financial institutions within regulated environments, Michael specializes in assisting companies in developing tailored and efficient information security strategies.

His current role as CISO at SWICA, a prominent health insurer, has given Michael a deep understanding of the needs of boards of directors and management boards when it comes to developing tailored information security strategies to combat cyberattacks. Michael has the expertise necessary to help boards set strategic direction in information security and cybersecurity, and also oversee those strategies to ensure that they are implemented in the best interests of the shareholders, which is to protect the company from major damage. Before joining SWICA, he worked in various security roles for companies such as Zürcher Kantonalbank, Neo One AG, UBS, Rothschild Bank AG, and SRG SSR, demonstrating his expertise in cyber risk management, network security, and information protection.
