Modern CISO Network: Board Book

Olivier Martinet, Group CISO at TX Group, began his distinguished career at HP Europe, where he specialized in Unix performance, kernel, and clusters. He then took on the role of Chief Visionary at the HP Innovation Centers Worldwide, an initiative launched in 1999. In this leadership position, he promoted technology use to high-ranking executives and C-Level clients. In 2014, Olivier joined TX Group as an Enterprise Architect within the Infrastructure team. Although his focus was on infrastructure, a portion of his duties were dedicated to security matters. Following a major security breach at the company, and with the support of upper management and the CISO, Olivier played a pivotal role in overhauling the security at TX Group. His unconventional but effective approach significantly improved the company’s security. In his current role as the Group CISO at TX Group, previously known as Tamedia AG, he oversees security matters at Switzerland’s largest private media company, making strategic decisions and implementing security measures to protect the company’s digital assets.
