Paul Lynch, who has more than 20 years of experience in information technology, is the Senior Director of Information Security and Infrastructure for CubeSmart Self Storage. He has established security governance programs and best practices for government, nonprofit, private, and publicly traded organizations ranging from technology startups to large entities like cities. Recognized as an industry expert, he has contributed as an exam content subject matter expert for EC-Council and (ISC)2, specializing in security governance and cloud security. He serves on the Customer Advisory Board for eSentire and is an active member of the EC-Council Certified CISO Body of Knowledge committee. He holds several information security certifications, including Certified CISO, CISSP, ISSMP, and CCSP.
As a forward-thinking leader, Paul uses his expertise to help organizations become cyber-compliant, productive, and engaged. He is skilled at managing and mentoring teams and using his strong communication abilities to achieve exceptional results. In his current role at CubeSmart, Paul aligns a multicloud hybrid infrastructure strategy with information security standards and requirements. He established and maintains a comprehensive vision, strategy, architecture, and program for systems infrastructure, telecommunications, security, and endpoint support. He plays a critical role in optimizing strategic vendor partnerships for information security technologies. He also monitors and assesses the organization’s overall compliance with information security regulations and policies. Before joining CubeSmart, Paul was the Director of Data Security and Privacy for the American Board of Internal Medicine, where he played a pivotal role in leading their digital transformation effort eliminating years of technical debt, and establishing and directing the information security governance policies and programs for the national medical board.
