As Head of Security for Atradius, a world leader in credit insurance and debt collection, Simon leads a team of security professionals in protecting the company’s assets and develops and implements the company’s security strategy. Simon has a deep understanding of the security risks facing businesses today and is committed to using his expertise to help Atradius Group stay ahead of the curve. As a highly respected member of the security community, Simon regularly speaks at industry events and frequently contributes articles to security publications. He is passionate about security and is committed to helping businesses protect themselves from cyber threats. He is also a strong advocate for DevSecOps as a security practice that integrates security into the development and operations of software.

Prior to his current role at Atradius, Simon held several security leadership roles at organizations including Rackspace, the UK Ministry of Defence, and BAE Systems, where he offered senior board-level consultancy and business development expertise, successfully established a global cybersecurity practice, and offered consultancy services to C-Suite executives in the energy, government, telecommunications, and transportation sectors.

Simon is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA) registered network and security expert, with extensive experience in multiple public and commercial sectors.
