Tim Chase is a results-driven information security executive with strong business acumen and proven success leading global teams through all phases of risk analysis, business process improvements, and technology transformations, ensuring the security of data and critical infrastructure. He has a demonstrated track record in building strong business relationships, with a focus on developing and managing secure IT operations. He is an expert presenter and negotiator; able to build consensus across organization levels. He is a noted speaker in top security testing summits across the U.S. As Global Field CISO at Lacework, Tim leads an international team of Field CISOs and CTOs who build relationships with executives from prospects/customers, present at industry events, and are seen as industry thought leaders. Notably, Tim created a process to ensure Field CxOs are embedded into all F2000 and strategic deals. He also developed a process to provide the Product team with feedback from customers and industry trends. Tim helps sales leaders sell to security practitioners by teaching them how cybersecurity leaders think, and he also advises executives on security best practices. Prior to joining Lacework, Tim was the Director of Field Security at Collibra, where he was instrumental in creating a Field Security program and developing HIPAA and FedRamp compliant solutions.

Before that, he held CISO roles at companies including HealthStream and Nielsen, crafting and executing security strategies and developing DevSecOps frameworks. As an accomplished speaker, he regularly presents at security testing summits, webinars, and conferences, including RSA Conference and InfoSec Nashville. He is a LinkedIn Learning Author, creating training modules around DevOps and DevSecOps. Tim is on the Global Advisory Board of the EC-Council for both CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and C|ASE (Certified Application Security Engineer), further cementing his reputation as a trusted advisor and thought leader in cybersecurity.
