Tim Mullen, CISO at OneTrust, has over 20 years of experience in information security encompassing numerous roles and functions. Tim is skilled at developing and implementing layered security strategies and has led several initiatives supporting digital transformations. He has held leadership roles at large corporations including Change Healthcare, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Home Depot, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), and AT&T. As CISO at Travelport, he implemented a global access management system using features like single-sign-on and multi-factor authentication. He also expanded their application security program and established a 24/7 security operations center (SOC), equipped with data analytics to enable constant monitoring for any issues in the company’s digital environment. Tim’s extensive background spans several industries, including software, financial services, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and hospitality. His areas of expertise within information security include identity and access management, incident response, security intelligence, application security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, Red Team, risk management, and data governance. Tim holds an executive certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management and has many industry affiliations. He also has a Bachelor’s degree from UGA. He is part of the governing body for Evanta’s Atlanta CISO community and holds memberships in organizations like the Cloud Security Alliance, Homeland Security Information Network, and H-ISAC, among others.
